Pre-Step Purchase your Kaleodscope pre-cut quilt kit.
** 12 pre-cut kaleidoscope blocks
(6 with black corners/ 6 with red corners)
** 1/2 Yard Inner border fabric
** 1/2 Yard Bind Fabric
Step 1: Sew all 12 Kaleidoscope blocks according to the directions on the reverse of this page. To get the ‘ mixed look, 6 will have black corners, and 6 will have red corners.
Step 2: Arrange your blocks as shown in the photo, alternating the red and black corners, then sew into rows; you will have 4 rows of 3 blocks, then sew the 4 rows together to complete your inner quilt top.
Step 3: From border fabric, cut 2 stripes 3.5″ x wof. This time, take a measurement through the middle horizontally ( approx. 37″ ), use this measurement to cut your top and bottom border pieces, sew to top and bottom of your quilt, and your top is done.
Step 4: From border Febric cut 2 stripes 3.5″ x wof. This time take a measurement through the middle horizontally ( approx 37″), use this measurement to cut your top and bottom border pieces, sew to top and bottom of your quilt, and your top is done. 4
Step 5: Quilt as desired
Step 6: For Binding, Cut stripes at 2.5″ x wof from binding fabric and bind
